We’re very EXCITED to announce our first digital / print competition in partnership with Dow Art Gallery and Picture Framing. This competition is for photographers of all levels and is a great opportunity to win cash prizes, show your work in an art gallery during the St. Paul Art Crawl and get published, all in one shot!
The entry fee is $45 and you can enter by clicking here. One (1) image from each participant WILL BE INCLUDED in a photo book commemorating the event, along with your name and contact information. Each participant can enter up to three (3) photos into the competition, one for each category. The categories are Portrait, Landscape and Urban.
Photographs will be submitted and judged digitally, and the top ten (10) winners from each category will go on to the final print round. Once you’ve received notification of advancement, you can print and frame your photo for the show. Your contact information, business card sized, will be on display (except during the judging) throughout the St. Paul Art Crawl. During the art crawl, gallery visitors will cast ballots for the People’s Choice award.
Judging will be performed by guest judges. The first judge we will spotlight is Peter Berman. You’ll learn more about the judges over the course of the month.

Grand Prizes:
- First Place – $600 + photo book
- Second Place – $300 + photo book
- Third Place – $150 + photo book
- People’s Choice – $100
Category Prizes (for each category):
- First Place – $100
- Second Place – $75
- Third Place – $50
- Fourth Place – $45
- Fifth Place – $45
In the event of low turnout, competition prizes will be adjusted accordingly.
Process
- Signup for the competition and pay the entry fee through the store.
- When you receive your link to the submission page submit your photos and information.
- When you are notified of your inclusion into the print portion of the contest, bring your framed print to:

Rules
- You may enter three (3) photos only.
- The name of the photo should contain the category name for which it is entered.
- More than three photographs entered by the same person will result in disqualification.
- Photos submitted outside of the entry form will not be included.
- Photographs are not limited to Minnesota.
- Any previous Minnesota Exposure winning image or finalist image is ineligible.
- Canvas or framed prints cannot exceed 16×24 for the print portion of the competition.
- You are required to obtain your own print and frame. We have sponsors that print and frame:
