The last six-and-a-half months have been simply amazing!! Through these competitions we’ve been able to see some amazing work from some amazing people! We’ve also been able to connect the winners with some fantastic merchandise and opportunities to collaborate with some great companies and local institutions. This project has grown leaps and bounds because of our fantastic contest participants and great sponsors! It’s become much more than we thought possible in a short time.  We need to thank our sponsors: Paint Addict Studios, West Photo, National Camera Exchange, and Fast Foto and Digital.

That said, it’s time to announce some changes.

Minnesota Exposure – Education

We’re joining forces with Frozen Hiker Photography to form Minnesota Exposure – Education! Minnesota Exposure – Education will be brining some of the best workshops, seminars, and learning opportunities in the area! Workshop classroom sessions will take place at the Dow Art Gallery, the field component of the workshop will be held outside. Keep the evening of July 11th open for a meet-and-greet and classroom fundraiser event at the Dow Art Gallery. More to come on that.

Summer Schedule

Summer is upon us and the kids are done with school. We’ll be moving to a weekly competition format for July and most of August so we can allocate some more time to creating a bigger and better Minnesota Exposure. During this time, we’ll be finding more gallery locations for the mini-galleries, beginning workshop planning, incorporating our new sponsors into the fold, and getting back to the community events that were scheduled in Spring. We’ll also be redesigning our website.  We’re also in the process of negotiating membership discounts for each of our sponsors.  We have a few of them locked-in and a couple more to connect with.  We’re presently formulating a membership program to make the discounts available to all of our members.
